Clay Date Nights and Cozy Clay Mornings at Glaze Handmade
Grab your Bestie, your partner, your parent, your adult child, your sibling, or just your own fabulous self and join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and fun at Glaze Handmade’s Clay Date Nights! This monthly workshop series is the perfect way to unwind, express your creativity, and make something truly unique.
What to Expect:
Hands-On Instruction: Lyndsay aka The Vegan Potter, will guide you through the basics of the project.
Relaxed Atmosphere: Chat, laugh and enjoy the company of a small group while you enjoy light sips and snacks (vegan of course!) and Create your own masterpiece.
Pickup Your Finished Piece: Pieces will be ready for pickup approx. 2-4 weeks after each class! We will make every effort to get them to you as quickly as possible but depending on the project they may require up to 2 firings after the workshop but let’s face it, they will be worth the wait!

Note: this class is held on 4 consecutive THURSDAYS July 17, 24 31, August 7 Class will be held from 6-8pm at Glaze Handmade.
Build your clay skills as Lyndsay Dean will guides you through demonstration and individualized instruction in this fun and casual workshop. Emphasis on designing, planning and creating simple shallow forms, plates and serving pieces will allow us to explore surface treatments with texture and color options. WE will learn how drape and press molds can help bring ideas into 3D and how finishing techniques can take pieces to the next level. Take your ideas from concept to design to tangible functional ceramics and further hone your relationship with clay beyond the potters wheel. Finished pieces can be picked up at the studio within 2 weeks.
*Class fee covers Clay, Firings and Glaze.
