Clay Date Nights and Cozy Clay Mornings at Glaze Handmade
Grab your Bestie, your partner, your parent, your adult child, your sibling, or just your own fabulous self and join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and fun at Glaze Handmade’s Clay Date Nights! This monthly workshop series is the perfect way to unwind, express your creativity, and make something truly unique.
What to Expect:
Hands-On Instruction: Lyndsay aka The Vegan Potter, will guide you through the basics of the project.
Relaxed Atmosphere: Chat, laugh and enjoy the company of a small group while you enjoy light sips and snacks (vegan of course!) and Create your own masterpiece.
Pickup Your Finished Piece: Pieces will be ready for pickup approx. 2-4 weeks after each class! We will make every effort to get them to you as quickly as possible but depending on the project they may require up to 2 firings after the workshop but let’s face it, they will be worth the wait!

Explorations In Hand building with Clay: Soft Slab Cylinders
Note: this class is held on 3 consecutive Thursdays June 19, 26 and July 3. Class will be held from 6-8pm at Glaze Handmade.
If the Thursday night session fills I will open up a Wednesday evening class that runs the same weeks. (June 18, 25 and July 2)
Join Lyndsay Dean for a fun and casual exploration that aims to inspire your creativity with clay beyond the pottery wheel. Each student will receive personalized attention due to the small class size of 6 max. Dive into texture and all its possibilities from found objects to hand made stamps, carved surfaces and how color can play in partnership with surface design. Learn to create functional or sculptural pieces through methods of soft slab construction that will build your confidence with clay and enhance your studio practice. We will focus on cylindrical forms that can be turned into mugs, vases, luminaries, lamps and more. The first two weeks of the session will focus on creating and the final class will cover glazing techniques. The finished pieces can be picked up at the studio within 2 weeks.
*Class fee covers Clay, Firings and Glaze.
